Back Facade
Upper Level with front living areas and a room at the back that can either be used as a bedroom or an office/study. There is a balcony to enjoy the views and a glass roof from the gallery space back, to allow for maximum natural light, as well as give an open space feel as the surrounding buildings would be visible as well as the open space at the back of the block.
Upper Level
Street Level, entry at the front into a smaller gallery space for displaying more intimate photography. There are private entrances for each inhabitant on either side, and the walls are a layered wood facade, with a backing of opaque glass, to allow for silhouettes to be visible, adding another element to both the public gallery and the private hallway on the other side.
Lower Level, Open plan Living, Kitchen, Dining, opening out onto a shared back grass area for outdoor entertaining and living.
All three levels, as well as the roof.
Section model of the gallery area, showing the feature layered, which is the same as the smaller gallery space for continuity. There is also a void space at the back of the Street Level, to allow further light to penetrate the lower Dining entertaining area.
